2 positions

cinched is built around a simple belief — style is a human discipline, not an algorithmic one. while every other platform hands curation over to a machine, we're building infrastructure for real people with real taste to lead. this role is central to that mission.

what you'll do

  • research and document fashion history, vintage trends, and style movements relevant to the cinched community
  • audit current sellers to understand their curation style and identify gaps in what's available across the app
  • develop taxonomy for how items, outfits, and aesthetics are categorized and tagged on the platform
  • create guides for sellers on how to identify, describe, and price vintage pieces accurately
  • contribute to editorial content — trend reports, style references, mood boards, deep dives on specific eras
  • help identify which markets, events, and brands are culturally relevant to the cinched community

what we're looking for

  • genuine passion for fashion history, vintage culture, and style as a discipline
  • strong research skills and attention to detail
  • studying fashion, art history, communications, cultural studies, or a related field preferred
  • someone who actually thrifts, collects, or has a strong point of view on style
  • someone who cares about the difference between trend and taste
